How often have you thought how great it would be to have some assistance so the you can attend to everything you need to do in a day.

Well unless you think about using Outsource your Life! then there generally isn’t another option.

I can’t wait until the day they design a robot that can do all the mundane stuff. But in the meantime why not get yourself a special edition, genuine 7-foot tall, fully animatronic remote - controlled version of Robby.

Robby Who???? Robby the Robot from the 1956 film Forbidden Planet.

This robot has been made from the blueprints, molds and templates that were used to create the original. Only the finest materials have been used and Robby is pre-programmed to deliver the lines he made famous in the original movie.

The remote control allows you to adjust the volume, track selection and stop and start functions. He will also move, rotate his servo-controlled head and rotate his scanners while various lights flash. Robby has an integral audio system which produces cd - quality sound from a directional speaker system in his head. You can connect the sound system to a home theater system and you can even project your own voice through Robby’s sound system with the wireless microphone which is included.

The body is constructed of fiberglas so it will not warp over time and all the metals are machine-grade brass, titanium and aluminum for lasting durability and quality.

Robby the Robot is only available from Hammacher Schlemmer.

Smokeless Soy Candles

Anyone who knows me knows that I am a candle buff. I have a large assortment of candles of different shapes, sizes and aromas.

Just recently I had some soy candles sent to me and apart from the lovely fragrances they are 99% soot free because there is no petroleum wax in these soy candles.

Soy candles seldom trigger allergies because they are non-toxic.

What I like about these candles are that apart from the absolutely delicious aromas they are not expensive so they are perfect for the cost conscious buyer .

Give me Candles

My family have finally learnt that I can’t have enough scented candles or aromatherapy oils.

I love candles in all shapes, sizes and aromas. My house smells beautiful as wafts of vanilla or cinnamon scent float out the windows and doors.

Or I will burn citrus scents for an uplifting feeling.

Not only do I love candles etc but I also collect great looking candle and votive holders.

This xmas I received some lovely vanilla candles in frosted glass holders with silver wire wrapped around them and a small yellow bud rose attached to each holder. Very pretty and of course vanilla always smells nice.
